Email marketing can be one of the most powerful tools in your promotional toolbelt.  But, if you aren’t incorporating these three critical elements, you aren’t taking advantage of the revenue possible with email.

2. Deliver Customized Valuable Content

The best way to differentiate yourself from your competitors is to become THE person who is known for being in the know.  When you can deliver specific content to your subscribers that they essentially ask for – you become memorable.  In fact, more often than not you become the top-of-mind solution when they are ready to solve their problem.  Creating and delivering specific content doesn’t haven’t too time-consuming or complicated.  In Episode 27 learn the system for delivering content easily based on your audience’s preferences without having to stay on the creation hamster wheel.

3. Consistency Counts

Showing up consistently in the inbox is the number way to increase the percentage of sales that result from your email marketing.  The majority of businesses don’t show consistently. Then they mysteriously appear when they are ready to sell only to be greeted by crickets and unsubscribe.  When you prepare your audience and set expectations for when you will email, how often, and what your subjects will be – you are setting yourself and them up for success. Consistency always enables you to get regular feedback from your audience so you can be sure you are delivering the most wanted content in a timely manner.
